Scyler brought the meeting to order at 8:00 pm, Dave K. reported $3,517.00 in the account.

Scyler presented awards, fishing poles and targets to the winners of the Casting Kids.
Age 7-10 the 2 winners are Ethan Compton & Andy Brennan
Age 11-14 the 2 winners are Adam Olsen & Trenton Miller
Scyler is still trying to get a hold of Trenton, if no response we will award the runner up.
Thank you to all the members that came out and helped, it was a great turn out and everyone seemed to have fun.

Scyler then talked about his trip to Louisiana,  he learned a lot of new information about the youth groups, was able to judge the casting kids event, saw how the weigh-in was done and enjoyed talking to all the youth directors.  The 2 Idaho kids we sent back to nationals got second place.  He also learned that there will no longer be a Western Pro Division tournaments.

The first qualifier tournament was on Sat May 11 at Milner.   1st place Dave Verburg; 2 nd place Gary Keith & 3rd place Lance Luper.

We are getting ready for our OPEN....We will be down at Riverside Bar Friday to get started on the set up.  Lance & Ryan will do the live well check, Dale & Ron H. will do the parking lot.  Vern will get the oxygen, Dave K. & Scyler will get the catch & release boat when they go to the Federation meeting.  Jay will still have the hog & chicken feed for us.  We will have a meeting at 8:00 at the bar and Sat. morning at 4:30 for the draw.  We will go to Brads and get raffle items,   Don't forget to try and bring some raffle items and sell bronco tickets.

The June tournament is coming up at American Falls and  we will be having a bbq, so please bring a dish or something for everyone and your own beverage.    The main dish will be hamburgers and hot dogs.  The off limits will be Monday May 27, 2002, because of the Holiday.
