Scyler brought the meeting to order at 8:00 pm.

We had a guest speaker at the meeting, her name is Kathy Stopher.  She approached the club about U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Project W.E.L.P. (Wetlands Education Leads To Protection).  This project will enhance students' conceptual understanding in the these areas: Wetland values & functions; Water Cycle; Role of clean water in food chain/web; Water conservation and human impacts and Recreational benefits of clean water.  Kathy is wanting our club to help out with this project.  Scyler will bring it up at the next meeting for more discussion.

Dave K. reported $1,515.48 in the account.

The girl we sent to represent our club for the Casting Kids final won runner up in her age group.

To update you on the Qualifier tournament, the May tournament will be held at Milner on the 11th.

Casting Kids is still scheduled for April 27th & 28th at the Filer Fair grounds.  There will room for the trailer & 2 bass boats.  If you would like to have your bass boat in the show, let Scyler know.

Dave Withers brought the hat to the meeting to show everyone, we are doing hats for the Open instead of  T-shirts.  Everyone seemed to like the hat, thanks Dave.

Steve V. & Brent C. are getting the club advertise in the news paper and on the radio.  Thanks to both of you.

We are going to have a BBQ Sat. night, we are going to hamburgers and the fixings.  If everyone could please bring a side dish, chips or something else.

The Burley's fee is $25.00 w/ no option pot or $35.00 w/ option pot.  Magic Valley fee is $35.00 & w/ optional $5.00 for a pot for big fish for both days.  Weigh in will be @ 3:30 Saturday & 12:00 Sunday.

The club voted in a new member into the club, his name is Dennis Olson.  Welcome & good luck in the club.

The club voted on and passed that we would buy the plane ticket so Scyler could go to nationals in Shreveport, Louisiana to represent our club & the Idaho Federation.  It will be held April 18, 19 & 20.  B.A.S.S. will pay for all his meals and hotel.
