~The Federation is taking nominations for the Castrol Outstanding Award, the club nominated Steve Day for everything he does for the web site. It will be given away at the Federation Banquet November 21st in Boise. If anyone is wanting to purchase tickets, Scyler has some for sale.

The fishing was GREAT, good bbq, good weather and good conversation.

~The Dave Withers Scholarship Fund checks of $500.00 per student was sent out for their 2009-2010 College year. Thanks again for everyone that fishes this event so we are able to do this in Dave's name.

~Brad's Open was this weekend, it was Awesome. For those who didn't fish is tournament, you missed out on some great food, friends and fun. The fishing was a little tuff, he had 55 boats. Not everyone weighed in a 5 fish limit, but seem to have a good time anyway. We as a club donated $100.00 to help out with some of the expenses. With the donations and added money he was able to pay down 35 places. And gave 2 $50.00 visa cards to the lowest weight, which went to a couple that had never fished a bass tournament before. They had fun and were really excited to win something.

~Our next tournament will be held at C.J. Strike on September 19th and 20th will all three clubs. We will be going off Bass Hunters rules since they have the permit. The Owyhee county sheriff has told us that we will have to launch on Saturday from the Air Force Ramp because of the Black Sands Fishing derby that will be going on. After the Saturday tournament we will be having a bbq; hamburgers and hotdogs. Please bring a side dish or something so we can have a great bbq. The Bass Hunters voted on having a $800.00 added money, and we will NOT be matching that, we will stay at our $250.00 added money.
