Magic Valley Bass Masters
June 2009
News Letter
*Scyler open the meeting at
7:00.
*Thanks to everyone that helped out with
the OPEN tournament. After all the bills were paid out, we were able to
net $1,300.00. The raffle made $875.00, 1st boat out raffle $300.00 and
late entry fee's $150.00. Thanks again goes out to Steve and Kevin for the
lights, we received allot of great comments. The weigh-in went very smooth
and the tagging of the fish went off with out any problems. They tagged
over 200 bass. Thanks to Dave Verburg for jumping in and helping Scyler
and the Fish and Game out.
*The Federation meeting news; John
Lancaster will be going to the Jr. Championship tournament at Coeur D'Alene
in Northern Idaho, the club voted on and passed to give John $100.00 to help out
with his traveling expenses. The next Federation meeting will be held at
Idaho Joes on Thursday June 18th, starting at 7:00. Everyone is
welcome.
*We have 1 spot on the front of the
trailer for $200.00 and 2 spots on the side for $200.00. Rocky paid
$60.00 to have his logo put on the trailer and will clean and detail the trailer
when needed for parades and shows. The club logo is bleeding and smearing
when it is wiped, so the club voted on and passed to have a new logo put on
and use the logo from Snow Bowl Sweatshirts.
*Our next tournament will be at Owyhee
June 20th and 21st a 2 day combined weight. The entry fee will be
$45.00 per angler, the extra $5.00 will go towards paying big fish each
day. We are sharing the permit with the Idaho Bass Hunters, they are
pulling their trailer and hosting a taco dinner; please bring a side dish,
dessert, etc. Just a reminder that there is no store at Indian
Creek.
*For anyone that is going to help out at
the CAST event this year don't forget about the off-limits for that Saturday
July 18th since we will be having a club tournament the 19th.
*If anyone is needing an entry form or
more information on the North American Angler Open tournament June 29th at
Brownlee; contact Victor at 280-0290. This Tournament is sponsored by Jim
Wells from Fruitland.

Club has changed hands and he is not sure if we will be able to have to banquet
at this location, he will find out more information. And Steve will check
with Blue Lakes Country Club prices on different meal items, space available and
dates that are available.
*Dale Jarrell will get us entered into
the Buhl 4th of July parade again this year. If anyone would like to come
out and help, we always can use it. And don't forget to come to the
Jarrells' 4th of July BBQ get together, it is always GREAT!! Contact Dale
