I would like to thank everyone in the
club for the beautiful flowers I received in the hospital. I am recovering
very well from my surgery and trying to be quite at home. Thank
you again to that someone special that did this for me, since
you where the only one that happen to find out.
Scyler opened the meeting and gave
account balance.
Federations news: President is
Bruce, Vice President is Brandon Craner and Secretary/Treasure is
Tammy. The TIBF Youth Championship for 2011 Nationals will be held at
Cascade Res. May 21 & 22, 2011. Launch out of Sugarloaf Ramp.
The 2012 nationals will be August 28, 2011; more information to follow.
Planning for 2011 Cascade structure plant is ongoing. TIBF has 600'
approximately of poly pipe and plan on purchasing more concrete blocks.
Snake River Water Trail project, Bruce has been contacted by the group asking
for TIBF support in seeking a grant to rebuild ramp and dock on the Snake River
near Marsing. Bruce will draft a letter. Steve Day is offering a
service to TIBF member clubs to create and maintain club websites for a $100.00
fee annually. Members can go to TIBF website http://www.idahobassfed.com
for all updates and information. TIBF members have free ad space available
on the website. TIBF south qualifier schedule change-May tournament
changed to April 9th at Brownlee, Woodhead. TBF divisional update-Date is
April 24-29 on Hood River. TBF National Championship is April 12-17 in
Kingman, Tennessee. Brandon Craner boater and Don Boeger non boater will
be representing Idaho. Sportsman show update-March 3-6 at Boise Expo
building. TIBF clubs will man both booth and reel kids casting
events. Cabelas sports show is at the Boise store March 19-20.
Snake River Outdoor sports show is May 20-21 at Pocatello.
Our Banquet went very well with a good
turnout of members. The food was great again this year and the club voted
on having it there again for this years banquet. The club made $800.00 on
the raffle, thanks to everyone that purchased tickets.
We handed out invoices for the
trailer. The sponsors that will be taken off the trailer will be: EPS,
Extreme Motor and Western Marine. We have some space open so if you know
of anyone.
We had only 1 rule that was added for
2011; casting distance. The club voted on and passed the rule.
It reads: Casting distance rule is a minimum of 50 feet, unless invited
in. Then it is a no bump rule.
The club voted and passed to have Steve
Day update and maintain our website this year for the fee of
$100.00.
Minicassia asked if they could have a
copy of our weigh in program. The club voted and passed that they would
receive a copy due to the combined fishing events that we have
together.
The 9th Annual Banquet for Fish and
Wildlife is on March 5th, 2011 at Canyon Crest Event Center. If you are
wanting more information about this event you may contact Kerry Kirchenwitz

The Dave Withers Big Bass Derby will be
February 26th at Bell Rapids. The minimal donation is $10.00. We
will be having a potluck and the 3 clubs will be providing hamburgers and hot
dogs. If everyone could please bring an item it will be another
awesome event. We may be a little short of funds in doing two Scholarships
unless we have a great turn out so please come and test your boat out and get it
ready for the upcoming year. This event will officially start at 9:00 am but you
can launch at daylight if you want and come in at 1:00 for a great BBQ lunch
& potluck.
The club voted in 3 new members so far
this year and they are: Kelly Lee, Roger Hartgrave and Pat Campbell.
