Scyler brought the meeting to order at
7:00.
Federation news; the crappie transplant
from CJ Strike to Lake Lowell appears to have been successful with a near
100% live release rate into Lake Lowell. TIBF decals
are done and the clubs that purchased them will be receiving
them. Scales of Justice will be held September
27. If you are in need of an application you can download from
TIBF website. The 2009 Federation Banquet will be November
21st at the Hilton Inn-Spectrum in Boise, hotel rooms will be discounted at
$79.00 per night. This will be a sit down dinner costing an
individual $70.00 which will include State/National TBF dues, dinner, 1 big
raffle ticket, 20 regular tickets. Couples are $100.00 which will be
the same as individual except only 1 State/National TBF dues will be paid
for. The menu will be Prime Rib or Citrus Peppered Chicken with green
salad, red potatoes and green beans. The banquet will start at 5:00
pm with a no host bar. There will be a power point
presentation during dinner and a guest speaker. The
youth world championship was held in Pennsylvania and the winner was from
Idaho. Thanks to John Lancaster for representing us.
The 4th of July parade was fun, thank
you to the members that came out and helped, we did not do candy this year and
it was GREAT, we heard allot of people in the crowd talking about the sponsors
on the trailer, that was great to hear. The bbq at the Jarrells' was
fantastic, good food, good weather and conversations.
We had a good turnout for the Lake
Walcott tournament, thank you to Ron's Repair and Callens Refrigeration for
sponsoring this tournament. We had 3 jr members fishing Victor Jr., Katie
and Hunter. The winner was Katie with 1 fish weighing in
at 2.90#'s.

Dale Taylor wanted to thank everyone for
the cards and flowers that were sent for the passing of his father. Our
thoughts and prayers will be with you Dale.
If you see a new member not doing
something correct, help them out by saying something and help us reinforce our
rules. If you do not have a set of rules, let Scyler know and he will get
you a copy.
Scyler handed out the TIBF decals to the
members that were in attendance at the meeting. Everyone that paid
dues through our club will receive one. Scyler will check into the cost of
having some MVBM logos made.
The co-ed tournament will be August 16th
at Massacre Rocks. There is not an off limits for this tourney. If
you need more information contact Phil Mai.
Our next club tournament will be August
29th & 30th at Massacre Rocks, this will be a 2 day combined weight.
The cost will be $45.00 per person with the extra $5.00 going toward the 2nd day
big fish. We will be having a BBQ Saturday night, the menu will be
hamburgers, hot dogs, etc... Please bring a side dish for the rest of the meal
will be pot luck. Don't forget to pay the fee at the gate unless you have
a season pass sticker.
If you are wanting to fish Brads
tournament, get your application in due to the cut off point of 65 boats.
You will not want to miss this one of a kind awesome tournament Brad puts
on.
John Lancaster wanted to thank the club
for the money that he received to help out with the travel expense with the
youth championship, thank you John for the card and representing
Idaho.
We voted in three new members into the
club; Brock Tvrdy, Brent Tvrdy and Luke Woodhouse. Welcome to the club and
have a great time fishing.
