Scyler brought the meeting to order at 8:05, Dave K. reported $6,766.90 in the account.
We had a special guest, Pam Brown from the B.O.R. She went over the C.A.S.T. event that will take place on July 26, 2003 at Lake Walcott. The club will provide O.J., ice, plates and silverware. The Rupert Elks will do the lunch, Dry Creek will do tackle, Norco will provide the helium for the balloons, Simons Auctions & Pecco will do the camera's for each child. We will need all the help we can get from all the members, come out and support this very special event.
The Open went off very well. We made $1750.00 on the entry fee, $2,100.00 on the Guns, $369.00 on the general raffle and $310.00 on the 1st boat out raffle. Congratulations to Jack, Hector, Tom & Ryan for winning and making a good showing.
Urban Wilderness Day at Derek's will be held on June 21, 2003 from 11:00 to 3:00. Scyler would like all the help he can get from the club members, if you can help please give Scyler a call (work # 324-3333 or home # 324-1346).
The Kids Fishing Derby will be held on July 3rd at Crystal Springs from 9:00 to 3:00. City of Buhl, Walmart, West End Men's Association and Coke are sponsoring this event. The lake will be heavily stocked by local fish hatcheries. If anyone needs more information, contact Dale.
The Buhl Sage Brush Days Parade will be on the 4th of July . We will be Meeting at Dave Withers House in Buhl to finish getting ready at about 8:00-8:30, prior to going down to get in the line up. If you can help hand out candy it would be greatly appreciated.
The club discussed and voted on buying a back-up scale for weigh-in.
Dave Withers is selling his 1994 Ranger Bass Boat, as well as his fishing rods, reels and tackle. A lot of his tackle has never been open or is in like new condition. For more information contact Dale. If anyone wants to give Dave a call or stop in and see him, he enjoys visiting with everyone and also, his birthday is on July 4th, so give him a call.
